ZOOX Robo Taxi & Expansion Plans
ZOOX, Incorporated is an American technology company subsidiary of Amazon developing driverless vehicles that provide mobility as a service. It is headquartered in Foster City, California, and has offices of operations in the San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle.
Zoox was founded in 2014 by Australian artist-designer Tim Kentley-Klay and Jesse Levinson, son of Apple Incorporated chairman Arthur D. Levinson, who was developing self-driving technology at Stanford University. In January 2019, ZOOX appointed a new CEO, Aicha Evans, who was previously the Chief Strategy Officer at Intel.
Northrup will soon purchase the brand and increase manufactering, ZOOX has just opened a 220,000-square-foot manufacturing facility to build its robotaxi vehicles in Hayward, California we will build on this investment by increasing manufactering in Europe and Africa, new technology will be used across Africa and made publically availble to local councils whereby new road surfaces which don’t ever wear down and never need to be replaced.
ZOOX will in future sponsor or maybe found a team in the Formula E World Championships.
Formula E, officially the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, is the premier all-electric, open-wheel motorsport series in the world. Conceived in 2011, the series launched in 2014 and is designed to act as a competitive testing ground for sustainable electric vehicle technology while promoting green mobility. Formula E is a globally significant, FIA-sanctioned motorsport championship that reached a record 561 million viewers in its recent season. The sport’s cars are highly competitive reaching speeds exceeding 200mph.
New cars will be introduced as part of the ZOOX brand, i.e. affordable yet very high quality SUV’s, saloons, hatchback and in the future a level five driverless vehicle, we will also manufacture prams, bicycles, and ready to wear clothing with a premium retail store in various countries.
There will be a new purpose built sky scraper or head office in the new city in Nigeria whereby all of the continent can be reached, as it develops.
